Make Washington-Caldwell your “Destination School District”
Moving to the area? Seeking a great school to send your children? Look no further than the Washington-Caldwell School District. Washington School serves children in 4 Year Old Kindergarten (half day, 8:30-11:30 a.m., M-F) and Five Year-Old Kindergarten (all day, M-F) through 8th Grade.
Located approximately five miles south of Interstate 43 on Highway 164, Washington School is a wonderful place for young people to learn and grow. Small class size, along with very competent and caring teachers and staff, make our school a wonderful place to come to each day.
Upon graduation from Washington School, students attend Waterford Union High School. Our students have continued to excel in high school, as well as preparing for post-secondary options including college, technical school, military service, or the world of work. We are proud of all of our students!
Washington-Caldwell features an excellent curriculum, including state-of-the-art technology. For example, all of our middle school students (grades 6, 7 & 8) are assigned an iPad for the school year. Textbooks are loaded on the iPads and students can take these devices home to do their assigned work. Also, there are many other computers available throughout the school for all students to use to maximize their learning. Finally, the school board has made it a goal to continue updating the facility each summer to make the learning environment the very best it can be for all who come to Washington-Caldwell.
We all know the value of education. Now, more than ever, students must work hard and prepare themselves for careers that may not even exist at this time. In addition, America is challenged to compete in a world economy that knows no boundaries due to the advancement of technology. At Washington School, our students are being prepared to be successful in any career they choose to pursue.
We hope you make the Washington-Caldwell School District your destination! If you would like more information, please contact Dr. Mark Pienkos, Superintendent. He can be reached at 262-662-3466 or by email at [email protected].
Thank you . . . and GO BULLDOGS! (our school’s mascot)
