MEMORIAL DAY - REMEMBER
Memorial Day will be commemorated Monday, May 25th. There will be no school. May all of us pause to remember the tremendous sacrifices our brave service men and women have given throughout our nation’s history to insure our precious freedom. Memorial Day – REMEMBER.
At Monday’s school board meeting the annual board reorganization took place. The following offices are being served by: Mr. Tim Szeklinski – President, Mr. Robert Dixon – Vice President, Mr. John Bieringer – Treasurer, Mrs. Stacey Forkner – Clerk, and Mr. Todd Galkowski – Director and Board Rep to CESA 2. Congratulations to our school board officers!
As we prepare for the next school year, I want to announce the Teacher Homeroom Assignments. They are:
4K – Mrs. Jonna Jacobson
5K – Ms. Angie Bailen
Grade 1 – Mrs. Greta Frost
Grade 2 – Mrs. Cindy Hunt
Grade 3 – Mr. Carl Dehne
Grade 4 – Mrs. Mary Rohner
Grade 5 – Mrs. Char Keuler
Grade 6 – Ms. Michelle Bozio
Grade 7 – Ms. Kelly Unrath
Grade 8 – Mr. Toby Thompson
This is a very busy time of the year. However, it is a very positive time, too, as we combine end-of-year curriculum projects with fun activities.
Registration for the 2015-2016 school year will take place on Wednesday and Thursday of this week from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in our multi-purpose room.
Parents please continue to dress your children appropriately. Continued very warm weather will be happening this week. But, we all know: May brings flowers, but also rain (and it’s almost June). Thank you.
Please drive safely at all times around school. Remember to wear seat belts at all times – seat belts save lives! Also, please remember when picking up students at the end of the day to park in the east parking lot. Do not park in front of the school since our buses are there to pick up students at dismissal time.
Thank you for your support for the students and staff at Washington-Caldwell!
GO BULLDOGS!
