WASHINGTON-CALDWELL’S FOOD DRIVE!
MANY, MANY THANKS!!
The Week of January 5, 2015:
Many thanks to everyone who attended our Winter Concert on December 11th. Kudos to our music teacher, Mr. Jake Schroeder, for planning and directing this wonderful holiday program – his first at W-C! – showcasing our students’ many talents. Also, our PTO-sponsored annual basket drawing is always a fun part of the evening. To everyone who attended, participated, donated monies towards the basket auction: Your participation and generosity was greatly appreciated.
Also, a big “Thank You” to everyone who donated canned goods and other non-perishables to our Student Council/Builders Club and K-Kids sponsored ”Holiday Food Drive” for the Caldwell Food Pantry. Your generosity was greatly appreciated!
The Caldwell Food Pantry is sponsored by the Caldwell United Methodist Church which is located at 8504 Caldwell Road. Persons interested in more information are encouraged to call Mr. Chuck Herman at (262) 534-6581.
School resumes on Monday, January 5, 2015.
We will have our annual “Chill Out” reading incentive program on Friday afternoon, January 9th starting at 2:15. This is a fun event for our students in 5K through Grade 5.
Our boy’s basketball season is underway and I want to wish our student athletes and coaches much success. On Tuesday, January 6th our team travels to Paris. On Wednesday, our Bulldogs host Brighton here at home. Tip-off for these games is 5:20 p.m. Again, we wish our teams much success. Please come out to cheer our teams in 2015! GO BULLDOGS!
The weather is bound to turn much colder with snow falling. Please dress your children appropriately. Also, please listen to area T.V. and radio stations for school closing information due to inclement weather. It’s Wisconsin!
Please drive safely at all times around school. Remember to wear seat belts at all times – seat belts save lives!
We are blessed at Washington-Caldwell to have the support of the community we serve. In return, all of us at school wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May 2015 be filled with peace, happiness, and good health for you and your loved ones! Happy Holidays!
